version of ourselves. However, this desire to show off has its disadvantages
also, and it can cause pain for both the person who show off and those around

students may try to show off their academic achievements, extracurricular
accomplishments to gain popularity. In the workplace, employees may showcase
their professional achievements to get promoted or gain recognition. Similarly,
people may show off their wealth or lifestyle on social media to gain followers
and likes.
The desire to show off can boost
various factors, including a desire for acceptance, and a lack of self-esteem.
However, it can also increase our low self confidence. Regardless of this all ,
showing off can cause pain and discomfort for those around the show off.

create a competitive atmosphere where individuals feel the need to one-up each
